Students are introduced to the philosophies of magic and major ethical issues throughout Magimundi history.Also delves into the power of math and numbers to determine meaning and divine past and future events. Divination & Arithmancy: A study of sensory perception through various types of divination such as palmistry, phrenology, astrology, tarot, using a scrying orb, tea reading, geomancy, and dowsing.Cryptozoology: a study into the unique magical creatures and their preferred habitats as well as the unique properties of magical creatures and their unusual adaptations.Includes recent advances in technomancy and the interference of mundane technology with magical energies. Alchemy: This course covers the distillation of magical ingredients into components to create draughts that produce the desired effects.Mages at Magischola Prep take the following courses: All while wearing your school uniform robes, and the tie for the Courtyou were sorted into on Monday evening. You’ll be making things in Crafting, meeting and taking care of creatures, dueling in defense, brewing potions, and potting, cutting, or caring for plants, and more. If you think taking courses means you’ll be sitting inside listening to Professor Binns drone on while trying to stay awake, think again! These courses are hands-on and ask you to actively engage. Electives are held in the late afternoon, before Club Meetings and Excursions. At lunch, you’ll get the chance to sign up for that day’s electives–interesting topics taught by special guests to add to your learning. Each day you’ll take two classes in the morning, and three classes in the afternoon.

    You’ll take all 10 of these classes, 5 per day for each of the four full days of wizard school you’ll attend. Aspiring wizards need to master the basics of runes, rituals, alchemy, defense, herbology, artificery, divination, evocation & summoning, healing, and care of creatures.
